De Havilland DH 106 Comet

First jet airliner, it entered service in 1952. Following numerous accidents between 1952 and 1954, the aircraft was modified and evolved into the Comet 3 in 1954 and the Comet 4 in 1958.

Several toy manufacturers offered a Comet model.
